Prices and Payment
Scootr at certain times of the day may operate dynamic pricing. What this means is that items prices and delivery may rapidly change while you are in the process of browsing. Prices are also liable to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Partner Restaurants.
Scootr reserves the right to charge a Service Fee, which could be subject to change. This is done solely for providing our Services. In the event this occurs, you will be notified of any applicable Service Fee and taxes prior to purchase on the checkout page or on our Application. There will be no changes that will affect existing confirmed orders, unless there is a glaring pricing error.
If there is a pricing error we will intimate you at the soonest and you will be presented with the choice of confirming the order at the original price or cancelling the order without charge and with a full refund of any money already paid. Where Scootr or any Partner Restaurants make a delivery, we or the Partner Restaurant may also charge you a delivery fee. We will aptly notify you during the order process and before you complete your order.
The total price of your order will be set out on the checkout page on our website or application, including the prices of Items and Delivery and applicable Service Fees and taxes.
Payment for all Items and deliveries can be made on our Website or Application by credit or debit card, or other payment method made available by Scootr. As soon as your order has been confirmed, your debit or credit card will be authorised and the total amount marked for payment. Payment is made directly to Scootr who acts as agent on behalf of the Partner Restaurant only.
We have been and are authorised by our Partner Restaurants to accept payment on their behalf and payment of the price of any Items or delivery charges to us will fulfil your obligation to pay the price to the Partner Restaurant. In specific and some cases, you can make your payment via alternative method of cash directly to the Partner Restaurant by paying the rider at the time of delivery. Our application will make clear where cash payment is possible prior to placing your order.
At certain times, our partner restaurants sometimes make provision for special offers which are available through our Application. These will become visible when you peruse the Partner Restaurant menu. All these offers are at the sole discretion of the Partner Restaurants. Unless the offer terms state a fixed or minimum period for which an offer will be available, it can be withdrawn at any time, unless you have already placed an order based on the offer and we have sent the Confirmation Notice.
All that you need to know about refunds and how you can easily manage them
All Scootr customers can claim a refund if their order wasn’t correct or if it had some missing items, was extremely late or damaged.
Whenever a refund is given to a customer, either Scootr or the restaurant will cover it (or will share the cost accordingly), in light of what went wrong.
